Opening hours

The museum of work is open daily 11am to 5 pm (with the exception of major holidays)
Restaurang Laxholmen serves a lunch buffet Monday-Friday 11 am to 2 pm.
Café Strykjärnet has the same opening hours as the museum and is opened during the summer.

How to find us
Walking from the railway or busstation
Stroll up Drottninggatan and turn right on Knäppingsborgsgatan. Continue on this road, crossing Gamla Rådstugugatan and continue on under the yellow vaulting at the end. Turn right and after a few steps cross the road and follow the left-hand road up Västgötebacken. Continue up the hill and turn left at Stadsmuseet.

From E4-motorway
Take the Norrköping S turnoff and follow the signs for the Industrilandskapet. Take the second turnoff at the roundabout (Linköpingsvägen changes name to Södra Promenaden). Follow the road, past the Idrottsparken (the football ground) on the right and take the third turnoff at the roundabout onto Kungsgatan. Cross the tramlines and continue on down the hill. Turn right at Kvarngatan. Arbetets museum’s car park is on the right and parking permits are available in reception.
